Avoid Unnecessary CT Scans – Cancer Risk is Too High

A few days ago I gave you a link to an article about the dangers of having too-frequent mammograms. The risk of inducing cancer is just too high.

Now, according to new studies, it appears that breast cancer is not the only tissue at great risk from radiation.

CT Scans not only pose a risk, but are being routinely ordered by physicians in the course of diagnosing illness – AND are being ordered by patients who are well in an attempt at early detection of a pending illness.

This article on Robert Wascher’s Health Update is far too detailed for me to paraphrase the information. So for your health’s sake, please read it – and then think twice or three times before saying yes to a CT Scan that isn’t an absolute necessity.

For ways that food can help you stay cancer-free, try these diet tips:
Look to Nutrition to Reduce Cancer Risk

Inexpensive superfood reduces breast cancer risk

Common spice provides pain relief – cancer prevention
